We will be replacing the existing water mains and renewing service pipes that lead up to the boundaries of properties on the following streets. 

• Edward Avenue
• Belmont Close
• Hatherton Place
• Leighswood Avenue
• Leighswood Grove

When will the work take place? 

The work will take place for six weeks from Monday 14 July 2025. 

Our team will be working between the hours of 7:30 and 17:30 on weekdays. Weekend and overnight work may be required to limit traffic disruption on occasion. 

Will traffic be affected? 

To complete the work as safely and efficiently as possible, we will be required to close the following roads: 

• Edward Avenue from 14 July to 24 August
• Leighswood Avenue (at the junction of Edward Avenue and Leigshwood Grove) from 11 to 24 August. 

 Access to frontages will be maintained throughout the duration of the works and a suitable diversion route will be in place.
