The average person uses 137 litres of water a day - with much of it going down the drain. Together, we can all make small changes to help ease the pressure on our supplies and make sure there is enough water for everyone, now and in the future.

Where does my water comes fromYour water is sourced from Blithfield Reservoir, rivers and groundwater. Periods of low rainfall directly impact the amount of water we can take out of rivers. Groundwater is slower to react to periods of dry weather, but we still rely on the usually wetter winter periods to make sure these sources are replenished.
When we have less winter rainfall and high demands, this causes water levels to drop – meaning less water for water supplies and also for our rivers.
